As the holiday season approaches, so has the time for us to confirm our operating and support hours over Christmas and the New Year.
We’ve seen increased year-on-year demand for greater operational support throughout the festive period, so this year we are remaining open between Christmas and New Year.
Like other network providers, there will be a network change freeze which will take place between Monday 16th December 2019 from 9:00am until Friday 3rd January 2020 at 5:30pm.
During this period no major planned network maintenance will take place, including deployment of core network infrastructure or peering builds. Our Engineering team will continue to provide engineering support for any live services to ensure that they operate as normal.
Our Service Delivery team will continue to deliver and provision services throughout the network freeze period in line with our key suppliers’ own notices and activities. We will also continue to accept new orders and carry out key provisioning activities that do not require significant network build.
Any in-flight orders that are expected to be delivered during the freeze period will be progressed in line with supplier capabilities, and customers will be kept fully informed. Delivery lead times and timescales will include and factor in any non-working days accordingly.
The office will be closed on designated Bank Holidays:
- Wednesday 25th December 2019
- Thursday 26th December 2019
- Wednesday 1st January 2020.
Outside of this, our office remains open from 9:00am to 5:30pm throughout the festive period. Out of hours technical support remains unchanged – as such 24/7 support will remain in place for all Managed Support customers.
