I first met Sachin and the team in May 2019, and joined the business as chairman in March 2020. My role is to help the leadership team develop a clear strategy that makes us stand out from the crowd, and use my experience and external perspective to help the management deliver it.

I started Vaioni in back in 2008 from my back bedroom! These days my role is very different – as my focus now is to provide direction, inspiration and steer the ship, whilst promoting innovation for our customers. I’ve spent 15+ years in the Tech industry, so I know a bit about a lot.

I am a qualified accountant and have been part of Vaioni’s leadership team since 2014. When I’m not working on my spreadsheets or overseeing the finance function, you’ll find me playing cricket or spending time with my wife and twins.

[ The Vaioni Wholesale Story ]
Vaioni Group started back in 2008, when MD Sachin Vaish saw an opportunity to disrupt the Ethernet sector, which was held back by slow, expensive and frustrating service. Recognising the gap in the wholesale market, Vaioni Wholesale was born in 2013 and has been shaking up the market ever since.
Early on, Vaioni Wholesale’s small team quickly demonstrated that Ethernet could be better, building our reputation for cost-effective products and dedicated service. We went on to build the first online Ethernet procurement tool, slashing quoting and ordering times from an average of five working days to just under 10 minutes.
Since then we’ve grown into a multi-award-winning connectivity and cloud operator, providing access to one of the UK’s leading digital transformation platforms. But we aren’t stopping there. Disruption is in our DNA, and we’ll continue to strive to provide ever-more effective connectivity, cybersecurity and IP voice solutions to businesses across the UK.
